HealthKit and Apple Watch Policy

FitGo uses HealthKit and Apple Watch only with your permission to display fitness statistics and improve workout tracking.

These pages describe FitGo's current and planned practices. They must stay aligned with the app, App Store Connect, and the providers actually used.

Data that may be read

  • Steps.
  • Active calories.
  • Heart rate and resting heart rate.
  • Sleep, if authorized.
  • Workout-related data and measurements available during sessions.

Data that may be written

If you allow it, FitGo may write completed workouts and active calories to Apple Health. You can refuse this permission without deleting your FitGo account.

Use and sharing

  • HealthKit data is used for statistics, summaries, fitness context, and Apple Watch display.
  • It is not sold.
  • It is not used for targeted advertising.
  • It is not shared with data brokers.
  • You can withdraw access in Apple Health > Data Access & Devices > FitGo.

Accuracy

Apple Watch, Apple Health, Garmin, and sensors can produce missing, delayed, or inaccurate values. FitGo is not a medical device.
