Privacy Policy

FitGo is a fitness tracking, routines, stats, AI coach, and nutrition estimation tool. This policy explains what data is collected, why it is used, which providers may process it, and how to exercise your rights.
These pages describe FitGo's current and planned practices. They must stay aligned with the app, App Store Connect, and the providers actually used.
1. Controller
FitGo is operated from Quebec, Canada. For any privacy question, access request, correction, deletion request, or complaint, contact hello@fitgo.app.
2. Data collected
- Account: email, user identifier, login providers, session information, and data needed for authentication.
- Profile: username, fitness goal, language preference, time zone, photo, or avatar if provided.
- Training: routines, exercises, sets, reps, weights, duration, notes, rest timers, records, volume, XP, badges, and history.
- Health and fitness: authorized Apple Health data, Apple Watch, Garmin, steps, active calories, heart rate, resting heart rate, sleep, and workouts, depending on permissions granted.
- AI Coach: messages, goals, check-ins, reported pain, measurements, proposed plans, insights, and coach usage.
- Nutrition: meals, foods, calories, macros, water, targets, favorites, barcodes, local meal photos, and AI analysis results.
- Social: posts, post images, likes, comments, follows, follow requests, reports, and privacy settings.
- Purchases: Apple transaction identifiers, routine purchases, Pro status if enabled, and data needed to restore purchases.
- Technical: device, iOS version, error logs, usage events, latency, quotas, and diagnostics needed for security and stability.
- Support and FitGo updates: emails, support messages, deletion requests, and any information voluntarily sent.
3. Purposes
- Create, secure, and manage your account.
- Save workouts, routines, statistics, nutrition, and progress.
- Sync data between devices and restore an account.
- Provide the AI coach, insights, routine suggestions, and nutrition analysis.
- Connect Apple Watch, HealthKit, Garmin, and FitGo widgets.
- Manage purchases, subscriptions, restores, and paid routines.
- Prevent abuse, fix bugs, measure stability, and answer support requests.
- Comply with legal, tax, security, and platform obligations.
4. Optional features and consent
HealthKit, Apple Watch, Garmin, notifications, AI Coach, AI nutrition analysis, food photos, social features, and marketing are optional. Some features may be unavailable if you refuse a permission or withdraw consent.
FitGo records the accepted terms version, acceptance date, and certain functional consents so it can show that the information was presented.
5. Providers
- Supabase: database, authentication, storage, Edge Functions, and synchronization.
- Anthropic: processing AI coach conversations and proposals through a FitGo server function.
- OpenAI: automatic analysis of meal photos and descriptions through a FitGo server function.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, StoreKit, App Store, Apple Health, HealthKit, Apple Watch, and system notifications.
- Open Food Facts: barcode-based nutrition lookup for some packaged products.
- Garmin / Connect IQ: workout synchronization with compatible devices if you enable the feature.
FitGo does not sell personal, health, fitness, or nutrition data and does not use it for targeted advertising.
6. Health, fitness, and HealthKit
HealthKit data is not sold, is not shared with data brokers, and is not used for targeted advertising. You can withdraw access in Apple Health at any time.
Sensors, synchronizations, and permissions can produce incomplete or inaccurate data. FitGo is not a medical device.
7. AI and nutrition
AI responses and nutrition estimates may be inaccurate. Do not enter unnecessary sensitive medical information and do not use FitGo for emergencies, diagnosis, treatment, eating disorders, allergies, diabetes, or decisions requiring medical precision.
8. Retention and deletion
- Account and FitGo data: kept while the account exists, unless deleted or unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
- Training, nutrition, coach, and social data: deleted when the account is deleted, except data that must be kept legally.
- Meal photos: saved locally on your device if you choose to save them with a meal; they are deleted when the meal or corresponding local data is deleted.
- Technical logs and usage events: kept for a reasonable period needed for debugging, security, quotas, and stability.
- Transactions: some proof of purchase may be kept for tax, accounting, anti-fraud, or Apple-related obligations.

9. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, withdrawal of consent, or file a complaint. Email hello@fitgo.app with the subject “Privacy Request”.
10. Security
FitGo uses reasonable measures such as TLS in transit, restricted access, server-side secrets, recognized providers, Supabase Row Level Security, and passwords managed by the authentication provider. No system is perfectly secure.
11. Minors
FitGo is not intended for children under 14. Minor users must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian.
